Korn

KORN, formed in 1992 in Bakersfield California, is considered to be by many as the pioneers of Nu Metal music. KORN, formerly, L.A.P.D. (Love and Peace Dude), were responsible for bringing “rap-rock” to the forefront of American pop culture through the mid 1990’s and early 2000’s. Known for their innovative and unapologetically relentless music, that incorporated elements of heavy metal, grunge, punk and rap, the band helped open the floodgates for similar artists such as LIMP BIZKIT, DEFTONES, STAIND, INCUBUS and LINKIN PARK.

After over 25 years as a band, today KORN has nearly 40M records sold, 12 studio albums, 3 live albums, 8 compilation albums and 7 EPs to their name, amassing a cult and mainstream following that continues to live strong.
