Chris Hemsworth and co-stars to attend Transformers One Australian Premiere!

Paramount Pictures Australia was thrilled to announce CHRIS HEMSWORTH, BRIAN TYREE HENRY, along with ACADEMY AWARD® Winning Director JOSH COOLEY and Producer LORENZO DI BONAVENTURA, will attend the Australian Premiere Screenings of their highly anticipated film TRANSFORMERS ONE at IMAX Sydney and Event Cinemas George Street on Wednesday 11 September.

 This exciting news follows the overwhelming positive response from the Australian Fan Screening event held recently in Sydney, with many fans praising the film’s incredible visuals, music, and storytelling.

Australian Transformers One Fan Screening Event – July 25th 2024

The Australian Transformers One fan screening event was held on July 25th 2024 and was a massive success. The cinema was at full capacity with over 200 passionate fans from the Transformers Collectors Club Australia (TCCA), the largest Transformers fan group in the country, gathered for an unforgettable evening, alongside selected media and genre influencers.

TCCA members showed their dedication to the beloved franchise by travelling from all corners of Australia to attend the screening, with many of them arranging meetups beforehand to share their excitement. The enthusiasm was intense with many hardcore Transformers fans came dressed in their favourite Transformers merch & costumes and Transformers products in hand.

Upon arrival, attendees were greeted with special gift bags containing two exclusive Transformers collector’s posters and an Optimus Prime transforming toy, supplied by Hasbro. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as fans explored the event’s photo and engagement opportunities, including a media wall, four Transformer statues as well as a live demonstration of the latest Transforming robots by Robosen adding to the immersive experience.

As the event kicked off, the crowd was buzzing with excitement as the cast greeting played on screen, followed by the highly-anticipated opening to the movie. From start to finish, the audience was fully engaged, reacting with cheers and applause throughout.

Key moments that had the crowd roaring included the introduction of Orion Pax, every appearance by Bumblebee, Alphatrion’s pivotal gift of cogs to the main four characters, and Orion Pax delivering the iconic line, “Roll Out.” Optimus Prime’s final monologue and the thrilling post-credits scene left the audience cheering long after the film ended.

The initial feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, with fans praising the “amazing” and “flawless” animation, “incredible storytelling, visuals, and music,” and calling the film “a fun ride,” “an incredibly gratifying and pure take on the world,” and “the Transformers film we have been waiting for.” Many attendees expressed their gratitude, calling the movie “truly a gift for the fans.”
