Since his first appearance in 1929, Popeye the Sailorman has evolved into a pop culture spinach eating icon. 2019 marks Popeye’s 90th anniversary.

Popeye has enjoyed fashion collaborations with Joyrich, Uniqlo, Havaianas, Jean Paul Gaultier, Cotton On and on grooming kits with our very own Kiehl’s Australia.

In 2017 Popeye became one Tough Mudder down under, teaming up with the world’s best mud run to ‘get strong’ and ‘be strong to the finish’. With branding popping up at flagship Australian Tough Mudder events, more than 20,000 participants were met in the mud by Popeye the Sailorman in Melbourne and Sydney.
